Our registered dental hygienist complements and enhances the services offered at the dental practice.
Once your dentist has ensured there are no active problems, the hygienist will concentrate on the maintenance of gums.
  1. Careful removal of plaque (soft deposits) and tartar (hard deposits).

  2. Eliminating stains.

  3. Teeth whitening (if desired).

  4. Focus on ensuring you have good personal oral hygiene.

  5. Early detection of gum disease and tooth decay – an alert to see your dentist.

Pain Relief

Treatment options will be discussed carefully with you and can include:

  1. Removing tooth decay & replacing with fillings.
  2. Tooth restoration - crowns, inlays or veneers.
  3. Treatment of dead or dying teeth - root canal or tooth replacement [implants, bridges or dentures].
  4. Gum [gingiva] disease.
  5. Loose teeth or loss of teeth.
  6. Wisdom teeth.
  7. Other problems can be treated such as, teeth grinding [bruxism], bad breath [halitosis], snoring, dry mouth [xerostomia], clicky jaw [TMJ disorder], bad bite [malocclusion], ulcers, swellings and lumps.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Stained teeth - teeth whitening, crowns and veneers.

Missing teeth (gaps) - implants, bridges, dentures and tooth bonding.

Crowded or crooked teeth - an assessment is made, simple problems can be addressed. A referral to an orthodontist may be required.

On occasions we may recommend a referral to see a dental specialist.
